Just Another Day In SouthLA

Heart of the Crenshaw District, Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza

Crenshaw Baldwin Hills Plaza is scheduled to undergo a huge make over that begins with an initial $30 million investment, that’s only a small portion of the $750 million that will go into the entire project, which is said to includes the surrounding area as well.  The mall itself will be renovated to include a new modern dining terrace with new furniture, lighting, finishes and floors, with a more creative layout.

Significant upgrades will also be made to all of the storefronts, parking areas and building exteriors.

The transformation of the interior of the mall is set to be completed in time for the 2011 holidays.

Capri Partners of Chicago purchased the mall last year and have ultimately envisioned a complete transformation of the property, including a new residential neighborhood, a hotel and commercial office buildings situated within pedestrian friendly tree-lined sidewalks, and conveniently linked to the proposed Metro Rail public transit center on Crenshaw Boulevard.  Capri Partners are now awaiting they’re Environmental Impact Report, EIR, to be approved from the City of Los Angeles.

She’s Your Mall to Be!!!!
