Just Another Day In SouthLA
Now this is the development I like to hear about. The city of Inglewood, along side Imperial Partners has been working on a retail plaza, with TWO Class A Office Towers dubbed Inglewood Promenade, “iP”. iP would be located directly south of Hollywood Park Tomorrow development at Prairie Ave. and Century Blvd. The entire project area consist of 50-acres, and is to be comprised of mixed-use development project which will be a key part of the Village Specific Plan proposed by the City of Inglewood.
The master plan illustrates a blend mixed-use elements, excluding residential, that would be broken down into two (2) phases. The retail includes a department store anchored Power Center, and restaurants facing Century Blvd connecting with Phase II, according to a leasing website, JCPennys has signed on board. Phase II would consist of a Lifestyle /Entertainment Center with a multiplex cinema and 300-room hotel?? This is slightly confusing, because Hollywood Park Tomorrow is to be building a Movie Theater directly across the street from iP. The remaining development consists of an office complex, as well as, a remote terminal/garage for LAWA.
