Just Another Day In SouthLA

New Downtown or First Step to Gentrification??

(fer) Studio in Inglewood recently submitted a downtown master plan for Inglewood that “could dramatically enliven the downtown area.”  The master plan envisions vertical gardens, green roofs, and… altered urban fabric (what that means exactly, not really sure).  With the Crenshaw Line cutting through Downtown Inglewood, its only ideal that area go through a redevelopment, the only thing that worries me here is if the proposed redevelopment is all for keeping the local business and residents intact after everything is said and done.  Let us know what you think!
