Just Another Day In SouthLA

Los Angeles New Elevated Convention Center

Along with the proposed Farmers Field planned for the current location of the Convention Center West Hall, AEG has submitted plans for the new Los Angeles Convention Center space they are required to replace (an agreement between AEG and Los Angeles City).   The new plans propose for the adjoined space to hover above Pico Blvd, connecting to the already existing South Hall creating one large space instead of the currently two separate existing halls.   The plans also include a free-standing Ballroom located south of the Staple Center and and upgrades to Gilbert Lindsay Plaza also located south of the Staple Center, doubling the amount of green space.  Did I mention that with new plans comes with a new name, LACOEX, Los Angeles Convention Center Exhibition Hall.
