Just Another Day In SouthLA

Porsche Amusement Park Coming To South Cities

Porsche plans to erect a driving course dubbed, Porsche Experience Center North America in the Beautiful South LA City of Carson.  With the upcoming South Bay Boulevards, and the redeveloped South Bay Pavilion, Carson is getting some much needed love.  This course will be the 2nd course built in America and 5th in the world.  The course will lie over  51 acres and be built adjacent to the 405 Freeway south of the planned South Bay Boulevards.  Porsche’sUS headquarters is based in Atlanta Georgia, however this course will host to the West Coast Location.  Porsche reported on they’re website that Southern California is one of the largest Porche markets in the US.

Once fully operational, the facility will employ approximately 70 full and part-time staff members. Groundbreaking is scheduled for spring 2012.  The new Facility will allow drivers to get to know and realize the full potential  of they’re vehicles in a safe setting.  I’m sure that straight-away course running along the 405 fwy will be a favorite with the Porsche community.
