Just Another Day In SouthLA

New High Rise Tower to Coming to South Park

The South Park District of Downtown LA (the area surrounding the LA Convention Center and Staple Center, east of the 110) is said to be the future Beverly Hills of Downtown and with this project I can see why.  With construction slated to begin this September, a 22-story tower will rise on the current parking lot at Eighth and Hope.  The project will include 290 one- and two-bedroom apartments with “floor-to-ceiling glass,” balconies, and “high-end interior finishes,” along with an elevated pool deck with “oversized pool,” and a rooftop deck “overlooking the Staples Center and LA Live to the southwest and the high rise buildings of the Central Business District to the north The project will also include 2 levels of underground parking and 5000 square feet of retail space.  Leasing is set to begin Summer 2014.
