I’ve known about this for a while but haven’t done any posting on it because like most projects in South LA it’s not worth talking about until they break ground, however its good to know whats happening therefore I bestow this information upon you; Crenshaw and Rodeo, currently a supermarket with Cameo Cleaners is suppose to be transformed into the District Square, hosting a three-level, 300,000 square-foot retail center/mall, anchored by a Ralphs supermarket and Target. Now this project was announced two years ago this month and there’s yet to be any sign of construction at Crenshaw and Rodeo……but just so you know.

July 19, 2012: Just drove by and noticed some new Notice of Public Hearing signs, but didn’t have a chance to stop and read them. But, maybe something is finally happening?
