Every fourth (4th) Friday Radio Free KJLH and a couple other affiliates will host Food Truck Fridays in Downtown Inglewood! I attended the first one this past Friday and it was awesome! It was cool just seeing the community out indulging in Downtown Inglewood. I think this is the first step of seeing my dream Market St. Promenade come true, picturing what Market St. would look like as a pedestrian only street. I also got to see how I and you can help save Downtown Inglewood’s Historic Fox Theatre. Created by Lil Pee Wee, a radio voice at KJLH, Food Truck Friday’s allows local food trucks to setup in Downtown Inglewood creating a food court of authentic and unique cuisine. Trucks in attendance last Friday consist of The Fry Girl, The Melt Bus, Me So Hungry, Greasy Wiener, My Delight Cupcakes, King Kone Ice cream, Cousin Maine Lobster, SistaSoul, Ragin Cajun & The Postcard. So from now on every 4th Friday until further notice head out to Downtown Inglewoods Market Street for some good eating and family fun.
