Just Another Day In SouthLA
The 300,000 square foot retial development planned for Crenshaw Blvd and Exposition is being scaled back to incorporate 200 residential units. Source’s say the planned shopping center is trying to get new entitlements for the approximately six-acre property. The project was actually supposed to be completed back in 2013 however rumor has it when one of the chain-store-focused shopping center’s anchor tenants backed out and that caused the developers, West Hollywood-based Charles Company, to rethink the project’s makeup altogether. I assume now construction is taking its time because the Expo/Crenshaw Subway Stop along the Crenshaw Line is being built directly below the The District Square Project.
