We’ve been covering LA’s plans for a new football stadium way back since there was talk of a Farmers Fields in DTLA, but now that plans have finally been solidified to bring the Rams to Inglewood, Home of the Champions, we’re even more eager to cover the construction of the Stadium as if falls under the SouthLA Cities umbrella. Featured in some of the renderings of the the New Rams Stadium, which scheduled to be completed in 2019 and that will host a a Superbowl in 2021, you will also notice the surrounding neighborhood, Hollywood Park Tomorrow (Lord, I pray they rename that).
HPT is scheduled to be completed in 2023 and will host 3,000 homes, everything from condos, apartments, and it’s even supposed include some single family homes(atleast thats what the original plans called for). HPT will also include, a Grove like shopping center, anchored by a remolded Casino, an artificial lake, several parks, and much more. However with all this proposed glitz and glam, I do have a major concern on how exactly the developer plans on tying the $2 Billion project in to the surrounding community which needs major TLC.
